My whanau on my papa's side come from Tokomaru Bay me Tikitiki. my nans side, Kaitaia me Patea. i was raised always hearing about Te Whanau a Ruataupare. but wasnt too sure if we had links there as it was word by mouth from an older cousin, not an aunty, uncle nor my tipuna. because i was never raised back home but in Wellington. i feel as though i may have missed out the importance of knowing exactly what my link to Ruataupare is. i am raised by my tipuna and age is coming upon them pretty quickly. my papa tells me stories about back home (but with his dementia kicking in, i'm not too sure). my brother is the only one who has our whakapapa, going as far back to our Mauwhata side (Mohigan Indian). but at the moment he is not contactable, i enjoyed the layout of your web site and how you made the site easy to use. i couldnt get lost in this site, even if i tried. the warmth in some scriptures is overwhelming. i hope i
